When I was growing up, my grandfather told me to never back down from what I thought was right. Never give up when people tell I can’t do something. To never be ashamed of what I am because other people think it’s not cool. I’ve always tried to do what he told me. My dad always told me that I could be anything I wanted to be. When I got older I realized that every father tells their child that. But I did take comfort that someone believed in me. Those two men taught me everything I needed to know about the real world, rather they knew or not.
I’m not the same person I was when I was growing up. When I young I believed everything they said to me. Now, I know better. My father once told me I had brothers and sister in New York after I told him about a dream I had. Now, looking back, I realize that’s a bunch of B/S. My dad got me into reading. I love reading now, and I hope my kids enjoy it as much as I do. When I was young I decided to read the Bible. That’s where my trouble begins.
After I read Genesis I had a lot of questions. So, I did what anyone in a Christian school would do. I asked questions. Problem was nobody was able to answer me. Instead of answering my questions I was told to “Just have faith and God will lead you.” Little did they know I was already losing my faith in that god. I didn’t understand how a god that was supposed to love everyone on earth, but kills children in a flood because their parents didn’t do what he wanted them to do. To be honest I still can’t understand that. I don’t think anyone can understand that.
I didn’t stop reading the Bible because I thought that every Christian need to know what the word of God said. If I had just stopped there, I would probably still be a Christian. But I didn’t stop and learned a bunch of things about the god I chose to serve that I didn’t agree with. I had no idea that women were considered property of men. That women could be traded like objects with little or no value. I was told that God thought every person was equal in his eyes. The more I read the more I learned that this god didn’t care about everyone like I was told.
I just couldn’t believe that my family never told me this. I was so mad at them for not telling me. Then it occurred to me that maybe they haven’t read the book like I was. I read the book from cover to cover and when I was done with it my faith in a god that loved me was nearly gone. I asked more questions and never god answers. I was told that God loved me and I had to believe that what they said was true. I was supposed to believe it, but they couldn’t prove what they said was true.
Growing up I wanted to be an author. Never really got started writing until I had my spinal fusion. I was sixteen then. That was the same year I lost my faith any god that was claimed to love everything. If the god in the Bible was real, then he only cares about himself. He’s just not what I pictured a god to be. He’s not what I pictured any loving god would be like.
It’s funny looking back and thinking that I was the only one that felt this way. Back then, the world ended at the city limit sign. I had no clue that there were people outside of my little home town that shared my views. I was born and raised to love this god that did so much good for the world. When I looked at the world I didn’t see this wonderful place. All I saw was people in pain that prayed and lived by this book. Where was this god that was supposed to be protecting them?
I’ve seen people give money to the church every Sunday, pray every day, and did what the preacher said the Bible told. They did everything their preacher said to do and they were still suffering. They gave money to the preachers and went hungry through the week. This wasn’t something that a loving god would let happen to his followers. If he really loved his followers, he would have given them what they needed. That’s what I was told as a child.
The thing that really gets to me is that when things like this happened to these people they said it was God’s will. If that was God’s will then he was an asshole. And that’s the way I thought of him for a long time. How else could a person think of him? Then an idea came to me. Maybe God wasn’t real.
That thought scared the hell out of me. For about two seconds. The more I thought about it, the more sense it made. I realized that this story of contains things of a fairy tale. Things like the killing of innocent people, dragons, unicorns, talking animals, and even talking trees. I stopped looking at the Bible as something that fact and starting looking at it for it really was. A fairy tale meant to scare people into submission. And it seems to that really well.
I noticed that there were a lot of controdictions in the Bible. How to get into Heaven seemed to be biggest contradiction of all. I was told that you had to believe that Jesus was your personal savior and you had to ask him into your heart. When I read the New Testament there were a lot of other things you had to do as well. Like sell everything you have. I know nobody that’s done that. My personal favorite was love your neighbor, but hate everyone. I’m still trying to figure out how that’s supposed to work.
So, I stopped believing in God, just like I stopped believing in Santa. It surprised me how none of my family could see what I saw. I never told them the way I felt because I knew they wouldn’t understand. Also I was worried they make take the Bible to heart and kill me for not believing. I did grow up in a God fearing land. I was always the odd one out anyway. I never really got along with anyone so when I decided that the Bible was just another fiction story told too make people feel comfortable, I really started to close in.
I didn’t know that were others that believed what I did until I got married. I never met anyone that shared my beliefs until about a year ago. I didn’t find that out until after I made a profile on a social network after I was laid off work. We didn’t really know each other until after we were out of work, but she’s became my best friend. She was brought up in a religion just as I was. She’s probably the only person that I know that understands where I’m coming from.
I’m not saying that there is nobody else on earth that understands. I’m sure there are other people that have went through the same thing. Pretty much everyone grows up believing in some form of religion. She’s just the only person I know personally. She’s a great person and I’m thankful that I met her.
I didn’t think that I would ever tell anyone the way I felt. The first person I told was my husband. To my surprise he didn’t divorce me or try to make me think any different. He tried to understand me in a way that I didn’t think anyone could. I was so shocked to see that he didn’t mind. He was totally supportive. He still believes in God and that doesn’t bother me. He’s a good person and he doesn’t treat anyone different than the way he wants them to treat him. I’m sure he got that from Bible, but I don’t care.
I really don’t have a problem with people that believe in a god. I really don’t. What I have a problem with is when people start being cruel to another person because of the way they choose to live their lives. The thing I hate most is when people of a religion start dehumanizing homosexuals. That kind of behavior is something I can’t stand. I’ve been told that the black people were cursed by God and that was the reason they were slaves. Those are the kind of people I don’t like to be around. And I make an effort to stay away from people like that.
I know some people would tell me that I need to talk to those people and make them see that those things are wrong. But how do you talk to someone like that when they’re getting this from the book they believe is the word of their god? You can’t make someone see something they don’t want to see. You just can’t. What you can’t make them see is that this book was written by men (I mean humans with penises) that believed the world was flat, the sun was a mystery from God, and an earthquake happened when their god looked down on earth.
We don’t think that earthquakes are made because God’s looking down on us, that the world’s flat, and we know how the sun works, now. Why is it that we know about those things, but still feel the need to believe that the Bible is the word of God? Of all the things we now know, why are there some that believe that the Bible is the word of the one true god? It just doesn’t make any sense. Not to me, anyway.
I know that science hasn’t explained everything about our world, but there is a lot that it has explained. More importantly, you can see their studies and the work they’ve done. There’s evidence to that backs up their claims. The only thing the Bible has going for it is there is evidence that the Israelites existed. There is no proof that their god is real, though.
When I tell someone that I don’t believe in a god, they tell me to prove to them that there is no god. They don’t seem to understand that it’s not me that has to prove to them. I’m not making a claim that he’s in fact not real. I’m saying that I don’t believe he’s there. They are the ones that claim they know he’s real. If a person knows something is real, shouldn’t they have some kind of evidence to back up their claim? If I said something was true wouldn’t you want to have proof from me that what I said was correct?

Just thinking online.
Mike (husband) and I are watching The Social Network. Well, Mike’s watching it; I’m sitting here writing this blog on my laptop. I don’t know why I agreed to watch a movie tonight. I’m not really in the “movie” mood tonight. But I do like spending time with Mike. I don’t get to see him a lot since he works nearly every weekend. This is the first weekend he didn’t spend at work.
I like spending time with him even though he does seem to bug me from time to time. But that’s something that every couple has. I’m sure I’ve got something that really bugs him. I’m pretty sure I’m bugging him right now because I’m not really paying attention to the movie. I’m not that into movie anyway unless they make me laugh or they have something of interest to me. Like the History channel or Discovery channel.
Personally, I like the History channel the best. I like to learn about the past because I think it’s the best way to live for the future. I like to learn what past problems were in our country so we don’t make them again. I think that’s the best way to live. Learn from your own mistakes, but also learn from other’s mistakes. That’s what my grandfather told me before he died. I have lived by those words since. I don’t plan to alter my thinking either. Those words have done me well.
Of course the real problem with our country is that the people that run our great nation don’t exactly do this. They seem to be making the same mistakes over again and expecting different results. I know some people say, “If at first you don’t succeed try, try again!” but when you’re doing something that is a clear violation of the civil rights, then you just need to stop. Yes, I’m talking about gay rights.
The thing that just pisses me off the most about this topic is that people claim to not mind about it, yet they don’t feel they should marry. If you don’t mind they are together then let them marry who they want. It’s not that difficult. Then they came up with this bullshit about saving the “sacredness” of marriage. How are gay people going to make it any less sacred? Oh, that’s right, it doesn’t. It only means that they can be happy with a wedding ring around their finger like everyone else. Why is that such a bad thing? Oh, yeah…Religion!
Religion is the most messed up thing we have today in my opinion. They have people believing that there is something waiting for them after death. Heaven if you do that book of the religion tells you to or Hell if you don’t do as you’re told. The thing I don’t like the most is that they are teaching their kids this. They are brain washing their kids to believe this. If a person decides to believe in a religion than that’s fine, but if they are force to or scared to believe in the religion they are in, then do they really believe with their whole heart like the religion says to do?
I don’t know much about all religions but I do know a lot about the Christian religion. I’ve read the Bible from cover to cover and there’s a lot that shouldn’t be consider as good moral values. Like the selling of your daughter or killing homosexuals for starters. I know that there’s some that don’t think there’s anything wrong with the Bible, but I also think those people haven’t read the book fully.
There are members of my own family that haven’t read the whole book, but swear that the book is full of love, mercy, and good morals. Now in this book supports slavery, rape, murder, and stealing. Personally, I don’t think those are good morals. Do you think they are? If you think they are the Christian religion is the right one for you.

Science.
Why do Christians claim that the creation story in the Bible is real? I've never heard of one Christian call it what it really is, which is a theory. Yes, evolution is a theory, but so is the story found in Genesis. The only difference in the two is one claims that's it's not a theory and the other admits it is. What I find amusing, is that there Creation Science. When I first heard this, I thought it had something to do with evolution. Then I started looking into it. Boy, was I surprised! I found a web site that says that evidence for the evolution theory isn't correct is in the Bible. Simply because the Bible says so.
Now, I have a few problems with this. If what the Bible says is true, then there should be evidence outside of the Bible to verify it. Evolution is just a theory, but there are things called fossils that show us a part of what things were like. The Bible, even though some don't agree, is also just a theory. The only thing the Bible doesn't have that our science books do is the evidence, like fossils. There should be millions of human fossils from The Great Flood that is claimed to have covered the whole world. There are not. There have been claims, but none have been recorded.
I wouldn't find this to be a big problem, but schools are teaching that the Bible is fact with no evidence, and teaching that evolution is only a theory while there is evidence to back up it's claim. They are teaching the Bible's version of creation in science class. The problem with this is that the Bible is not a science book and therefore should not be treated as such. Science is something that has been proven, there is evidence to verify it. You can see it, touch it, and read about the process that was taken to determine the outcome of the study that took place. The Bible doesn't give us any of this. It only says that God spoke and it magically appeared.
Evidence
Noun ~ that which tends to prove or disprove something; ground for belief; proof.
Verb ~ that which tends to prove or disprove something; ground for belief; proof.
Idiom ~in evidence, plainly visible; conspicuous.
Do I think the Bible should be taken out of the school. No, I don't. It is part of history and should be treated as history book. I do believe that it tells the events of Israelites. I believe it because there are writings that show that the people existed. We learn about the other gods from the past and don't claim that they made humans, like the people of those times did, we shouldn't claim that this god did. I think he should be taught, but it should not be taught as science. It should be taught as a part of our history. Just because we don't know the answer to something we don't turn around and claim it was magic. Which is pretty much what the Bible says.

The Intro. to my book. Thoughts?
I'm writing this book only because there are some things that weren't taught in church. Just to make sure you understand what I'm doing here, I'm writing what my interpretations of this book are. Nothing more. I'm not trying to convert anyone, but it would be neat if some saw what I see when reading the Bible. So many people have claimed that they live their life by this book. That it is this book that gives them their morals.
If I'm not understanding something in this book correctly, then make me aware of it. Nobody has been able to give me a straight answer when I ask a question about this book. So, if you find something I have wrote that is not correct, then correct me.
Most of the questions I have comes from the Old Testament. I learned, about a year ago, that there are some Christians that don't go by the Old Testament. They only go by the New Testament. This only confuses me, to be honest. The Old Testament is part of their religion and I don't understand how a Christian can do that. Without the Old Testament there would be no New Testament. The Old Testament explains the commandments. Without the Old Testament a person can't learn from or understand the New Testament.
The Bible is claimed to be the word of God. But as many people know, not all of the books of God are in the Bible. The Bible, the word of God, was edited by men. Why would God let man pick through his word? If there was a god, wouldn't he want all of his word known to the generations to come? How can a person today understand the word of God when they don't have his complete word? A person can't know what God wanted if his word has been edited and most of the books that were taken out of the Bible have been lost to us or destroyed.
Do you know how many versions of the Bible there is? There are over 80,000 different versions of the Bible. That's over 80,000 different versions of the word of God. Each one of those versions have something in them that the rest doesn't. How can a person teach the word of God when there are so many interpretations? You can't honestly say that you know what God wants from the book we have today.
Now, like I said before, I'm not trying to convert anyone. The things in this book are my thoughts, and mine alone. I'm doing this of my own accord. I'm not asking anyone to like what I have to say, but if you read this, please try to keep an open mind. Try to understand my view on this topic.
I'm using the King James version of the Bible for this book. It was the King James version that I used when I was a child. When I read the Bible, the whole book, I became an Agnostic. I was about 12 years old then. The more questions I asked about the Bible, the more I was told to have faith. When I was 16 years old, my faith was gone and so was my belief in a god of any kind. I could be wrong about there not being a god, but I have not seen the evidence there is a god.
I'm not going to quote the whole Bible. It would take too long. Besides, everyone already knows about the good parts of the Bible. Few know about the bad parts. Simply because they don't read the whole Bible. They only read what their preacher tells them to read during church service. I'm going to point out the part I find to be wrong. And when I say wrong, I mean morally wrong.
I'm also going to try to point out some of the contradictions of the Bible and the things that just don't add up or make sense. And there is a lot of things in the Bible that just doesn't make any sense. I know I'm not the only one that thinks this. Most of the Atheists that I've talked to, feel the same way. And they have read the Bible just as I have.
Now, I would like make one thing clear before you start reading this book. I don't have a problem with people that believe in a god. The only time I have problem with a person is when they discriminate another person and justify it through their religion. I don't like it and I never have liked it.
If I'm not understanding something in this book correctly, then make me aware of it. Nobody has been able to give me a straight answer when I ask a question about this book. So, if you find something I have wrote that is not correct, then correct me.

Good Christian morals.
So, I was told yesterday that I didn't have any morals. That I couldn't have any morals because I didn't believe what the Bible says. Spooky! I was told that a person that doesn't believe in his god couldn't have morals. My response was why. He then informed me that it was the Bible that gave people their morals. That a person who didn't believe in the word of God couldn't have morals because they didn't believe in his god. Then I asked him if he read the Bible and what the Bible (God) finds acceptable. He said yes, but I really don't think he's read the whole book. Or at least the Old Testament. So, I would like to take this time to remind those what the Bible really says and you decide how moral it is.
Slavery.
The Bible says you can own slaves. It even says that you can beat your slaves as long as you don't kill them and they are able to word in two days. It tells you how to sell your daughter. It also says that a female slave will not be allowed freedom like male slaves can. Does this sound like a good moral value? Does this sound like something a person would do if they had good moral values? I didn't think so.
Murder.
The Bible says that you are to kill anyone that doesn't worship or believe in God. It says that you are to kill all homosexual males. It says that you are to kill those that work on the Sabbath. It says that you are to kill witches. It says that you are to kill your son should he rebel. Does this sound like a good morals to you? Is this something a person would do if they had good moral values? Didn't think so.
Stealing.
The Bible says that you are destroy all cities around you if the people in that city if they don't worship your god. Not only are you to kill all of the people in that city, including children, you are to take their things and burn them.
Rape.
The Bible perfectly okay with a man raping a woman as long as she isn't suppose to be married to another man. Only if the woman is to be married does the man have to be punished. Before you start dancing with joy, I should tell you that the woman is also to be killed. She is another's man property and she's been defiled so she must also die with her attacker. If the man rapes a woman and she's not suppose to marry, her attacker pays money to her father and is forced to marry her attacker with no hope of a divorce.
This are the morals that I am suppose to be ashamed that I do not have. I'm sorry, I just can't be ashamed for not supporting these cruel and horrific things. I just can't bring myself to do any of these things. And neither can most Christians, yet they claim to live by this book. They say this is where they get their morals from. Are they aware of the things in the book they hold so highly? Shouldn't they know their good moral book says?

If the man rapes a woman and she's not suppose to marry, her attacker pays money to her father and is forced to marry her attacker with no hope of a divorce.
This are the morals that I am suppose to be ashamed that I do not have. I'm sorry, I just can't be ashamed for not supporting these cruel and horrific things. I just can't bring myself to do any of these things. And neither can most Christians, yet they claim to live by this book. They say this is where they get their morals from. Are they aware of the things in the book they hold so highly? Shouldn't they know their good moral book says?

Hate?
I have been told that I hate God. I can't understand why people say this to me. Not believing in something and hating something are two different emotional actions. I think it would take too much time and energy to hate something I don't believe is real. How many adults hate Santa? Why do people not hate Santa? Because they don't believe him to be real. It's the same thing here. I don't hate something that I don't believe is real. I just can't. I don't see how anyone can hate something they don't believe is real.
Then I've been told that I hate Jesus. I don't think he is real either. I don't believe a person can heal another simply by touching them and saying a few words. If that could be done, there would be no cancer, aids, HIV, heart problems, etc. There would be no need for doctors. There are, in fact, not enough doctors to keep up with today's illnesses. Some illnesses are starting to make a comeback because the medicine they used to keep it at bay or no longer working. They are no longer working because the virus is evolving. But that's something that few believe in. Evolving cells, how silly!
I've been told I hate Christians. This is also untrue. I don't hate Christians. Why? Because they are real and some actually try to be good people. I married a Christian. He is one of the sweetest people I know (don't tell him) and hope to spend the rest of my life with him. My father is a Christian and a damn good man. My grandfather was a Christian and probably the best man I ever knew or will ever know.
Then I hate religions. This would be incorrect as well. I don't hate religion. I have a few problems with some of religion's rules, but I don't hate it. However, I do dislike some of the actions that some, not all, religious people do in the name of their religion. Just because a person discriminates someone else in the name of their religion doesn't make it any less wrong.
Hate ~ to dislike intensely or passionately; feel extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward.
So, I've come to the conclusion that maybe they don't know the meaning of the word. They all claim not to hate, but some of their actions prove otherwise. Take Bill O'Reilly, just as an example. He will have guests on his show that don't share his views, all talk shows do. When they begin to say something he doesn't like, he begins to yell at then and rarely lets them talk at all. If people have to speak over someone else just to be heard, then why call it a talk show? If you're going to be the only one speaking, you should give it a different name. Instead of calling it a talk show, call it a "You sit a be silent while I speak" show.

If I'm going to Hell, You'll be coming with me!
I'm so sick and tired of people bitching at me because of my beliefs. They tell me that I'm going to hell. That I'm a bad person because I don't believe in their god. Why do people feel the need to tell me that I'm going to a place that they fear? I don't believe what they believe and it just pisses them off. Well, I don't really give a damn about their fucking feelings anymore. And here's why.
They write me messages on Twitter and Facebook and send me emails about how I'm going to hell, and that their loving god doesn't love me because I think that gays should be free to marry who they love. They tell that I'm a stupid bitch because I say that their god dislikes women. And if they read their Bible, they would see why I think that. They say that there is something wrong with my brain because I don't believe that their god went poof and the earth came to be. They say that I am closed minded because I don't understand why they believe that book and ask no questions. They say I hate them because they believe in a god. They say that I hate their god. I've even had people tell me that they would kill me if they ever saw my face because of the things I've wrote in my blogs. They tell me I behave like a child because I don't back down when they start throwing insults at me. They say that I am unhappy with my life because I don't believe in a god.
Tell me, is the way their Jesus would want them to behave. I do believe he said to treat people the way they want to be treated. How quick they forget what their book says. And when I say their book, I mean the New Testament. Cause the Old Testament belongs to the Jews. They start debates with me about their religion and then start insulting me when they can't think of anything else good that would defend them. I try to stay calm when talking to Christians, but when they start insulting my beliefs and get offended when someone else insults their beliefs, it pisses me off. Why is it okay for them to insult, bas, and threaten other's beliefs, but it's discriminating when someone else does what they do everyday?
I'm the one full of hate when they're the one turning red in the face during a debate. I'm a child, but they're the ones that start the debate with insults and try to make it like I don't know what the Bible says. They say that I am closed minded when they are the ones who refuse to listen to others. I'm the one who's unhappy, but they are the one complaining about their pains and troubles. I'm the one that hates their god when they are one asking their god why he is letting bad things happen to them. I'm the one that hates Christians, but they are the ones that want to kill me because of the words in my blogs.
If what I say offends you, then you'll just have to get over it. If my beliefs offend you, then get off my page. I have to see and listen to your holier than thou bullshit all of the damn time. I don't complain when you post shit like "God loves you" and "Thank the Lord", don't complain when I post things about my belief. My beliefs haven't had me kill people because they don't believe what I do. My beliefs don't tell me what to think. My beliefs don't tell me that I'm either going to heaven if I'm good or going to hell if I don't serve in them.
Does it bother you that I don't believe in your god or that I'm happy and content with my life. Or is it that I live my life the way any good person should, without fearing of burning in hell forever if I'm bad? Does it bother you that I do things for others without being told to so from a 2,000 year old book that may or may not be the words of a god? Or does it bother that an Atheist is behaving more "Christ-like" than most Christians do? Whatever the reason is, you can just get the fuck over it, already. Doesn't your Jesus tell you to turn the other cheek? How quickly you forget about that when your anger heats up and your mouth starts to speak.

God created what?
Day 1, God made the light and the dark. ~ There's no stars.
Day 2, God made the water and the sky separate. ~ Still no stars.
Day 3, God made land and plants. ~ Still no stars yet.
Day 4, God made the stars.
Day 5, God made animals.
Day 6, God made humans. (Both male and female.)
This is how the world came to be according to the Bible in the first chapter. Everything was made by one being and one being alone. There was nobody else there. It was only God and he made everything. All of this is in the first chapter of the Bible. (Which is a great book. Very interesting.) There are, however, some things that are...let's say odd, about the order of which these things came to be. Now, I have no doubt that animals came before humans, but plants need the light from the Sun to grow. Everything happened it just six days. Interesting.
Let's start with at the top. God made light before he made the stars. But let's say that this okay for a moment. God made plants before he made the stars. Now, you may not need the stars to separate it from the dark, you do need the stars to make plants grow. Without the light from the stars, you have no plants. The plants need the light from the stars to live.
Now, in the second chapter of the first book of the Bible, the humans were made before the animals. And male was made before the female at an earlier time. You can see how I find the orders of this a little odd. Because there's two different details of this one story. This is claimed to be historical fact. How can this be fact when there's two different accounts? This is suppose to be the word of the one true god. If this is the word of the one true god, why does this god give two accounts of this event?
In the first chapter of the Bible, God made both male and female from the dirt, on the same day. But in the second chapter, the female was made from the male's rib, not from the dirt like the first says. If the female was made with the male, what happen to that female when the second chapter started? Where did she go? Or did somebody get this story wrong. But if somebody got this story wrong, then that would mean that it wasn't spoken from their god.
In the first chapter of the Bible, animals were made before humans were. In the second chapter of the Bible, the male human was made before the animals. Then after the animals were made, the female human was made. That's right ladies, we ended up being made last. The bugs were made before us. Is that why most women don't like bugs? Getting back on topic, now. Why are these two accounts of the story so different? If this is the word of the one true god, that it came straight from him, the details of this story should remain the same throughout the book. Shouldn't it?
When people who have study those books they give you in that big building you parents sent you to for six hours a day, you'll see that those books keep the details the same from one book to the next. They don't change their story during or in another book. The facts stays the same. The history books don't change when you get to another person in history, but we are to believe this book, with all it's contradictions.
1) I don't believe this book because of the contradictions in it. In one book or chapter you'll read a story and in the next the details have changed. The story of creation, that is in the Bible, is a good example of that. To be fair, you can't expect the book to keep the details the same. There were many people writing this book. If there is more than one person writing a book, it will be hard to keep the stories straight. Which means, you don't get the original story. If you don't get the original story, then you can't expect it to be true.
2) There is no proof of any of this. I know, the big bang still has a ways to go before they'll figure it out, if they ever do. But the people that are studying the big bang admit that they're not sure. The people that believe the Bible, claim that they know without a shadow of a doubt. I don't see how a person can say that they know how the beginning of time when they were not there. When this book was wrote, it was generations after the first two humans were made. You can't give a detailed account on an event you were not present for.
3) The last reason I don't believe this book is because that there is too much evil done by this god. He kills the innocent, punishes the children because of their parent's bad deeds, and he tortures his the people who do worship him. And people claim this god is a loving, compassionate, fair, all powerful, and all knowing god. There are many events in the Bible where all of these titles are proven wrong. If I did want to worship a god, it wouldn't be this one.
