Q&A!

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything on here and since I’m really bored this seems like the best time to do it. I’m bored so there’s really no telling what I’ll talk about right now. Fair warning.
A few Christians have been asking me some questions recently. I tried to get to all of them, but I can’t. (I really do have a life; I just refused to let others know.) Some were really good and made me think. Others were just plain stupid and I have no reason why answered them. I think most of the people that asked me these questions follow me either on Twitter or Facebook so if I didn’t send you a reply to the question you asked, you’ll find it here. Probably.
Q. Why do you blame God for bad things in your life?
A. I don’t blame god for anything. In order for me to blame a god, I would have to believe that god is real. Since I haven’t seen evidence to support a supernatural being, I’m not going to blame my problems on him. Beside, most of the problems I have in my life are things of my creation.
Q. How do you fill the void in your life?
A. Your first mistake is assuming I have a void to fill. I’m happy with my life and I don’t have a void to fill at the moment. My family and friends keep my days very fulfilled and busy. I couldn’t ask for more.
Q. You’re going to Hell! Aren’t you scared?!
A. No, I’m not scared. Telling me I’m going to hell is like me telling you Santa’s not going to bring you anymore toys. That doesn’t scare you because you don’t believe in Santa. Going to hell doesn’t scare me because I don’t believe it’s real either.
Q. Why do you support gays? Are you gay?
A. No, I’m not gay…..completely… I support homosexuals because they have every right to be married to one they love just like straight people. I’m not scared that ‘family values’ are going to get ripped to pieces. The only way two homosexuals are going to fuck up my marriage is if they steal my husband from me.

Q. If Richard Dawkins became a Christian would you convert?
A. No, I wouldn’t. One person converting isn’t going to change my mind. Sorry, but it’s not.
Q. What would make you convert?
A. Seeing a person regrow a severed limb with no medical treatment and you could prove to me that it was your god that done it. That shouldn’t be so hard for a god that can do anything, right?
These are some of the questions I get asked a lot. I know some of my Christian friends get tired of my post about other Christians, but then I get tired of seeing them praising their god on their post. I thought you were supposed to pray to god, not sent him a status update. Does god even have a Facebook page?
After reading this blog (if you even read it) I hope you understand why I speak out so much now. I’m not attacking you, I’m just venting. I’m not going to say I’m sorry for offending you because I’m not. Everything I’ve posted, I stand by. Just like you stand by everything you’ve posted.
